Meeting on a regular basis at numerous coffee shops throughout Clonmel. The aim is to meet, share and learn. Connecting with others, learning about the web, social networks, useful sites et al for either business or personal use.

The next gathering will take place in Devanes 25th of February at 11am.

Notes from January

  • The inaugural gathering of 2010 kicked off last Thursday night in Mulcahy’s Pub. Attendees ranged from students, web designers to business owners with people travelling in from Roscrea and Cashel to be there. Liam Burke opened by explaining the idea behind the gathering and what he hoped it could achieve for the attendees and the town of Clonmel.
  • During the course of 2.5 hours the main talking points were twitter, facebook and iPhone apps. The main discussion was about how businesses in the town should be using social networks to freely extend their business online. A number of examples were given where people had made a number of useful contacts and work via twitter.
  • The key element of the night was that people were openly sharing their experiences, expertise and everyone learned something from it. Looking forward to the next gathering in February already. More details on http://clonmelcoffee.com.
  • Attendees included Liam, Sean, Anna, Susan, Michael and Dermot.
